Vacancy For Officers And Assistants in ALLAHABAD UP GRAMIN BANK

Allahabad UP Gramin Bank invites the application of recruitment for officers and office assistants.
further information regarding the Post are as follows:

1. Officer scale -I (Post code:01):
Number of vacancies: 41(SC-06, ST-03, OBC-11, GEN-21, PWD-01)
Qualification :
i) Bachelor's degree from recognised university in any discipline or its equivalent
ii) Proficiency in English language
iii) Proficiency in computer application.
Age Limit: (as on 01.07.2011)
Minimum 18 years and Maximum 26 years.

2. Office assistants (Multipurpose) (post code : 02):
Number of vacancies : 414 ( SC-87, ST-04, OBC-111, GEN-212, PWD-12)
Qualification :
i) Degree in any discipline from a recognised university or its equivalent. OR
ii) Pass with 50% marks in aggregate in higher secondary examination / XI standard/ pre degree or intermediate or any equivalent examination. OR
iii) Diploma in banking recognised by state or central government or union territory. OR
iv) Pass with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in matriculation or equivalent.
v) Proficiency in computers ( both in English and Hindi).
vi) Proficiency in local language ( Hindi) and knowledge of English language.
Age Limit (as on 01.07.2011):
minimum 18 years and maximum 26 years.




Application fees ( non-refundable)
For Officer scale I:
General/OBC :Rs.500/- [ Rs.400 (application fees) + Rs. 100 (postage)]
SC/ST/PWD/EXS : Rs100/- postage.

For Office Assistant :
General/ OBC : Rs.400/- [ Rs.300 (application fees) + Rs.100/- (postage)]
SC/ST/PWD/EXS : Rs100/- postage.
Payment of fees can be made through two challans available on the website of bank www.allahbadgraminbank.in for each post.
For officer scale-1 : Allahabad bank challan form-01
For office assistant : Allahabad bank challan form-02

Application Procedure :
i) Candidates can download the challan formats from the website of the Bank.
ii) After filling the required information on the form candidates can make payment of fees applicable in any branch of Allahabad bank.
iii) Candidates are required to keep the copy of the challan with receipt of fee duly acknowledged, for producing the same at the time of written test.
vi) Candidate claiming fee concession should also enclose the photocopy of the relevant category certificate, along with the challan.
v) Application once made will not be allowed to withdrawn and fees once paid will not be refunded.
vi) Payment by cash/cheque/money order/bank demand draft/bank pay order etc. will no be accepted.
vii) Fee should be paid between 02.08.2011 to 30.08.2011
Note : Candidate will not be permitted to appear at the written test without production of challan.

Pre Examination Training :
It is proposed to impart free pre-examination training to SC/ST/Minority candidates at banda. Training centre may also be changed at the discretion of bank. An eligible candidate who wishes to avail pre-examination training will have to fill in the relevant column in the application format. All expenses regarding traveling, boarding, lodging etc. will be borne by the candidates for attending the pre examination training programme at the concerned training centre.

Probation:
Office scale I : 2 years
Office Assistant : 1 years

How to apply:
i) All eligible candidates are required to apply online only in the prescribed format through website from 02.08.2011 to 30.08.2011.
ii) Last date for submission of online application form is 30.08.2011. No other means/mode of application will be accepted.
iii) Candidates should ensure that on deposition of fess the branch issues him a receipt which includes the following items : a) transaction number b) branch name (c) branch code number (d) date of receipt.

Guidelines for filling up the examination form:
i) Candidates are requested to have a valid personal e-mail ID. Should be kept active for the duration of this recruitment project. Bank may send call letter for written test, interview etc. through the registered e-mail ID.
ii) Candidates should fill up the application available after clicking the link given in the notification.
iii) Branch code and branch transaction number noted on the challan form should be correctly filled in the application form.
iv) The candidates should note the registration number and password for the further reference.
v) Candidates should keep two copies of the application print out, a copy of print out with the recent photograph of the candidate dully pasted thereon will have to submitted at the time of interview.
vi) Candidate should wish to apply for more than one post have to pay the application fee separately for each post and apply for each post separately.
vii) Candidates uploading more than one application for a post for any reason will be treated as ineligible.
