SCALE OF PAY : E-1: `.16, 400-3%-40,500 (Min. Gross emoluments `.37000/- Per Month). In addition, benefits like PRP, Medical reimbursement, PF, gratuity, leave encashment, etc are also payable.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION : CA or ICWA or MBA (Finance) from recognized Institution/ University. Knowledge of Company Law, Taxation and Computer Application desirable.

EXPERIENCE : Min. 2 years’ post qualification experience in Finance & Accounts.

AGE : Below 33 & 35 years for OBC & SC/ST candidates respectively as on 31-12-2011.

7. The Company is looking for goal-oriented and motivated personnel for recruitment in the following posts for achieving its ambitious plans of significantly expanding its business activities.
8. 9. This Division largely undertook import and export of Carbon Steel Melting Scrap and now enlarging its import activity in Steel/Coal/Coke as also other non-traditional items like SKO, Non-ferrous and Ferro-alloy items.
10. The volume of imports in the fiscal 2003-04 was around Rs. 3400 Crore and in 2004-05 is expected to be Rs 5000 Crore. MSTC with its network of 8 offices all over India, and its policy of operating on a very small margin is in a unique position to help International Commodity traders establish a market and clientele on a long term basis.
11. The Division is responsible for disposal of ferrous and miscellaneous scrap from steel plants as well as disposal of scrap and used stores, rejected, wastes, etc. and surplus items from over 150 Public Sector Undertakings and Departments. The Corporation also has a Management Services Division which provides the operational divisions regular feed back on market research. The Company’s registered and corporate office is located at Calcutta and it has four Regional Offices at Calcutta, Delhi, Chennai and Mumbai. Besides, the company has branch offices at Bangalore, Vizag, Bhopal, Vadodara, Trichy and Surat.

MSTC Limited is a Mini Ratna Category-I PSU under the administrative control of the Ministry of Steel, Government of India. The company was set up in 9th September 1964 to act as a regulating authority for export of ferrous scrap with an investment of Rs 6 lakh. Government of India, Members ofSteel Arc Furnace Association and members of ISSAI had made with the investment. MSTC became a subsidiary of SAIL in 1974. In 1982, it got delinked from SAIL and became an independent company under Ministry of Steel. It was a canalizing agency for import of ferrous scrap till 1992. As on date,MSTC has two major portfolios of business. One is Known as the Marketing Division which looks after the procurement of industrial raw materials in bulk for its Principals.The sourcing is done either from foreign manufacturers / traders or from domestic producers. The items that are procured include HMS, HR Coil, Billets, Wire Rods, LAM Coke, Coking coal, Naphtha etc which are mainly consumed by the steel industry in the country. The second portfolio provides a virtual marketplace for domestic sellers and buyers to do business in metal scrap (ferrous/non-ferrous), surplus stores, machineries, obsolete spares, vehicles, Plants etc. The methodology adopted includes open tender, public auction and e-auction Of late, MSTC has emerged as a major player in the country for promoting e-commerce.
